Interesting, does anyone know who may be the DC at Iowa State next year?

I would think it may be the old Washington State DC, or if we went in house go Deon Broomfield? Giving it to Broomfield would help with retention up front.
Broomfields going with Campbell. Bobbitt, who’s coming with from WSU will be the DC along with the former Toledo DC. I’m not sure what the roles will look like, sounds like maybe co-DC’s..? Which I’ve never heard of before, but either way, our defense will be good

Injuries the last few years are from the new field at Jack trice and the training facility. It sounded good in theory, but it wasn’t. But at least we maintain it better than Dublin with the same type of field.
I’m not sure the injuries were because of the new turf. Kagy wasn’t having the guys do enough injury prevention exercises and movements, which IMO was the reason why so many guys consistently got hurt with lower body injuries

I saw somewhere that WSU was interviewing the Missouri OC. I would think he takes it if offered.

I don't think we had unusually high injuries overall, just concentrated in one position group for some reason

Part of it being focused on one position group is the fact that there is less bodies to rotate around, meaning more wear and tear than usual.

Lot's of programs use a co-DC approach:

Alabama
UCF
Cincinnati
Clemson
Ole Miss

Those come to mind right off the bat...

As others have said co-DCs are fairly common. Typically one is more focused on the front 7 and the other on the secondary.

IMO. Jimmy Rogers will bring in his own staff. They will be good. Tyler Mouser would not have been a good choice. The offense struggled. He got cute and would make some some really strange calls. It is apparent that Higgins and Noel covered up a lot of Rocco’s weaknesses. Mouser may eventually be a good head coach. But no way he is ready now. He is not really a good OC yet.
Mouser's play calling was inconsistent.

so I see Mouse is officially PSUs OC.

And the ISU football website still has Heacock listed as our DC.
Rasheed, Waters, Poteat, Kratch and Landry are still listed.
All others are off the website
Where's that listed at?

Wow, good for him. I'm sure Campbell required autonomy in picking his staff, but their fans are probably going to give him a very short honeymoon due to his lack of experience at that position. Hope he succeeds though, seems like a good dude.
