The WSU strength coach followed Rogers from SDSU. I would bet a pretty penny that he follows to ISU, especially since he's a South Dakota native.
It sure seems like Rogers is going to lean HEAVILY on the run game. In 2024, SDSU ran for 6.4 yards per carry in conference games. I'd sign up for 4.4 yards per carry (2025 ISU was 4.3)

A new coach, stressing defense and lower scoring games (burning clock with the run) is a positive combination to increase wins.
Maybe this sways our dynamic duo to stay here and run the living crap out of the ball next season.

2019 - 2023 OC + FB + TE coach at NDSU
2024 RB + Assistant HC at ISU
2025 TE Coach for Detroit Lions
I doubt it, we can't pay what PSU can pay.
I wonder if we keep the backups as that room was deep
I mean both are seniors from around here…. Penn State has a history of RBs that are really good so who knows what they already have in that room.

His offense vs Roger's defense produced some good battles
Love to bring Brent Vigen over but its probably a step down for him, he was one of the truest mastermind of that NDSU run, after seeing what Bohl and Klieman and others have done since.
At the time it happened and to this day I don't see why we agreed to such a low buyout compared to what other schools are agreeing to.
