A new coach, stressing defense and lower scoring games (burning clock with the run) is a positive combination to increase wins. The WSU strength coach followed Rogers from SDSU. I would bet a pretty penny that he follows to ISU, especially since he's a South Dakota native.
It sure seems like Rogers is going to lean HEAVILY on the run game. In 2024, SDSU ran for 6.4 yards per carry in conference games. I'd sign up for 4.4 yards per carry (2025 ISU was 4.3)
Maybe this sways our dynamic duo to stay here and run the living crap out of the ball next season.
2004- 2008 RB at NDSUWas Roehl the play caller for NDSU?
Did he call plays 19-23?2004- 2008 RB at NDSU
2014- 2018 RB + TE coach at NDSU
2019 - 2023 OC + FB + TE coach at NDSU
2024 RB + Assistant HC at ISU
2025 TE Coach for Detroit Lions
I doubt it, we can't pay what PSU can pay.Maybe this sways our dynamic duo to stay here and run the living crap out of the ball next season.
I mean both are seniors from around here…. Penn State has a history of RBs that are really good so who knows what they already have in that room.I doubt it, we can't pay what PSU can pay.
I wonder if we keep the backups as that room was deep
According to this profile on the NDSU site, he did right from the start as OC.Did he call plays 19-23?
I have an excellent source that says Mouser to PSU - although I do not in what capacity.Haven’t heard anything of him linked to any assistant position with Campbell. And the position groups Mouser works with are getting filled. Mouser could be odd man out. Which is a bit strange since he was touted as a possible replacement for Campbell by some. And to be an OC under Campbell.
His offense vs Roger's defense produced some good battles2004- 2008 RB at NDSU

At the time it happened and to this day I don't see why we agreed to such a low buyout compared to what other schools are agreeing to.MC renegotiated his buyout down a year ago.
