Rogers started following Lawrence White on X. Could see him being another defensive assistant.

I'm in for any coach whose neck is bigger than his head.https://nusports.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/ryan-olson/3633 sounds like he might be oline coach
I gathered that he was hinting at Ross Watson when he said "one of them will be joining us". He paused and then immediately said that he was mentored by the DB coach while he was at FAU, but did not mention Watson by name.I would agree, but CJR did include his name in the discussion of coaches that had an impact on him. It was likely either a teaser or a mis-speak, but the same sentence included his name as one of two coaches who would be joining him.
Mouser/Campbell are in an interesting spot, because there is almost no way the AD/boosters at Penn St. would accept Mouser being the new OC. Will Mouser accept going back to being a position coach at Penn St. or will he look for an OC job somewhere else. Not seeing Mouser announced as a Campbell assistant. Or as a Rogers assistant.
Yeah, he was definitely talking about Watson coming during that answer. He didn't want to mention any assistants that are coming by name because he didn't want any follow up questions about them specifically.I gathered that he was hinting at Ross Watson when he said "one of them will be joining us". Not according to CW etc. That rule doesnt apply here. It opens on 1/2 like for everyone else. For ISU…..The Portal opens Tomorrow (maybe one day off) then the ISU players have 15 days to declare.

Blum and CW said it on their Pod the other night too.@GetAwesome i believe had it somewhere. May have been premium so hopefully my hands don’t get slapped for repeating but the extra window is if the coaching stuff happens so the players wouldn’t get the full 1/2 to 1/16 window. Ours do so that is their window.
I do feel for fans and players of that program. They have been run over by the bus of modern college football repeatedly.![]()
Inside Jimmy Rogers’ final team meeting at WSU, and what we know about staff changes
PULLMAN – A couple days before coach Jimmy Rogers turned Washington State’s football program upside down, deciding to leave for the same job at Iowa State on Friday after just one season with the Cougars, whispers bounced around the Cougar Football Complex.www.spokesman.com
Would say this looks pretty good and very possible.Best guesses at this point of the 10 assistants spots:
Defense:
Jesse Bobbit Co-DC Linebackers
Ross Watson Co-DC Safeties
Jalon Bibbs Defensive Line
Mike Banks Corner Backs
Offense:
Tyler Roehl OC Running Backs
Noah Pauley Wide Receiver
Ryan Olson Offensive Line
Kyle Kempt Quarterback
Chris Meyers TE/Recruiting Coordinator
Special teams: Pat Cashmore
An alternate offensive staff would be:
Zach Lujan OC QB
Jake Menage Wide Receiver
Ryan Olson Offensive Line
Donnell Kirkwood Jr. Running Backs
Chris Meyers TE/Recruiting Coordinator
Those high paying jobs are few and far between. I know several guys that played in college that then paid their dues in long hour/low pay graduate assistant and analyst roles that will likely never make it to being a DI position coach and have either transitioned to being a high school coach or moved on to other things.I sure screwed up after getting my coaching degree from ISU and I went into the business sector instead. A lot of $$$$ for coaches these days! Ugh
He and Rogers are very close and we will pay our DC not that much less than WSU will pay their head coach. Its all but confirmed that Bobbit and Watson will be Co-DCs.Sounds like it is possible Bobbitt will get a look for head coach of WSU and will be coaching in the bowl game. How confident are we he will ultimately land in Ames?
It's very late in the cycle and a difficult job to fill. I can see them wanting to go that route.
Pretty confident. He probably wants to come back to the Midwest since he's from Illinois. I wonder if he gets an actual serious look as he's only 32 or so. I know age shouldn't matter but big wigs making hires always seem to have it in the back of their minds. If he does get a look, I can't see Rogers holding one of his guys back and telling him not to go for it.Sounds like it is possible Bobbitt will get a look for head coach of WSU and will be coaching in the bowl game.
