Has the rot started to creep in?

Late season. Night game. We have had lots more for sale in past years. I couldn’t even give tickets away when we played Missouri years ago.

This thread is stupid. What a roller coaster it is with some of you guys. With so many injuries at linebacker early, many people lost hope for a good season. There were so many doomsdayers. Many panic ridden suggestions on what CMC should do. This team however found a way to win with back ups to the backups. Remarkably, the staff found a way to get us 7-0. Expectations rose. They likely exceeded reality given the injury situation the staff was dealing with and now some are going to turn on the staff because they lost two games. That is stupid. CMC and the staff are clearly trying to put this team in the best possible position to win each week. Take a chill pill and let the staff do the thing they are more qualified to do than any of us. Hopefully we get a win tonight and stay in the conference championship race.

Aside from injuries, the sloppy play the last few games is too bad but overall I've decided some weren't watching the first few games very closely or didn't watch them at all and decided 7-0 meant a really dominant 7-0.

There's going to be some fans really struggling if/when the MBB team drops a few before conference season.

'X things happened in the first half of the season so it will just be like that always' doesn't often hold up.

I agree with most of this, but if they were really more qualified, they'd be here on the Internet.

Yes! That's a great point!

Was he the one that prioritized the donors for the lower bowl in Hilton? Maybe it was already happening before his arrival.

Either way nothing helps one's image than leaving a university only to come on a free message board to get in arguments with internet strangers.

It's the way to show real power.

I'm also disappointed that nobody has looked at this rot thing and pointed out that we already have red in our colors.

When it comes down to it... is this team all that enjoyable to watch? Be honest with yourself.

So many mistakes in critical moments, seemingly always the team that doesn't win in the margins and the details... and then on top of it some of the most suspect play calling you will ever see... nearly more conservative than Iowa.

With all that being said.. I will always watch my team play (when I'm able), and will always root for them to win. Still lots to play for this year... that's for sure. The wind is definitely kinda out of the sails right now though IMO.

And on top of all that... not a very exciting opponent coming in... at night in the cold and wind too.

Their first fumble lost was vs. Texas Tech and they entered that game as one of the least penalized teams in the country.

I'll give you the last three games being sloppy and having these things pop up more but the 7-0 start was largely from being much more succinct in those areas, i.e. I don't recall any crucial timed errors to affect the outcome.

We allowed him to coach his way out of a job. And we hired Matt Campbell. I am very happy.
I was on the sideline of the ISU@Toledo game 2015.

I remember the look on Pollard’s face and the words he was saying about Coach Rhodes during the game. It was over that night for CPR.

And that night put Matt Campbell at the top on a Very short list.
