Ashley Okland Shooting

By writing that, yes, you are saying they had anything to do with it. Hope you and CF have good lawyers. If I were a Grubb or a Knapp, you'd be sued before noon.

really, for what would you sue? im guessing you would lose that case. if you could sue for asking questions, then the president could sue every citizen in the world. Donald Trump could be sued about the birth cert. every news anchor would be sued. good luck.

o and austen arnaud could sue half of us... saying we ruined his chances of being an NFL player by saying he wasnt capable of playing in the NFL... every single athlete could sue.

The article yesterday about the 52 year-old woman who was murdered last month in Des Moines got me thinking again about the Ashley Okland case (realtor who was shot and killed in West Des Moines last month).

I haven't seen or read a thing about it in over two weeks. Has anyone else?

I realize the first 24-48 hours of a murder investigation are the most crucial, but here we are more than a month later and...nothing (at least that we know of).

The manner in which she was killed (one shot to the head, one to the chest) and the fact things have been eerily quiet leads me to wonder if it was a professional hit. Not saying they had anything to do with it, but she was dating a Grubb and worked for the Knapps. Both families have A LOT of money. Perhaps she was involved with someone or something she shouldn't have been involved with? Or she knew or saw something she shouldn't have known or seen? Follow the money.

Or was it some random person, a drifter, with zero ties to her who walked in, shot her, and left? That would make it tough to solve as well.

Whatever the case, I just find it odd that two women were murdered within days of each other, and there doesn't appear to be any solid leads or suspects (again, at least that we know of).

(one shot to the head, one to the chest)..... O.B.L. was killed in the same manner?

I always get a kick when people cite the rule of law and/or evidence. This is America; justice is about money. The Grubbs or Knapps could sue you, me, anyone they like for whatever they want. They don't need the law behind them or evidence either. You'd be forced to hire a lawyer to defend yourself and they'd have you in court for months/years slowly stealing your money (paying your lawyers ever larger sums which is the same thing). They'd probably win in the end because they have more money than you to bribe the judge. Even if they lost, you'd be broke and they'd still be rich.

I'll sue for punitive damages. Sue you, sue everybody.

Sincerely,
Sol Rosenburg

Appealing.

Point of parliamentary procedure. Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests... we did. But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg... isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!!!

Knapp is going to have a hard time suing anyone seeing as to how hes going to be in federal prison for the next 3 years.

Anyways...an update

A 52 year old male who knew Okland killed himself in his black SUV on June 8th in Van Meter. He had been cleared by WDM police but they are now looking into it.
