Hernandez appears to be the first person confirmed not to be returning for next season

I'm just glad we're getting a season 2. Impact Wrestling should have confirmed with LU that Hernandez was in fact released from his contract. I blame them more than anyone for not doing their due diligence and checking directly with the other promotion. I can see if maybe there was some confusion on Hernandez's part, but they should never just take the wrestler's word.
Not too upset about losing Hernandez. He has a bit of a reputation for being dangerous in the ring, often times sending people in free falls like these.

That's pretty much Impact for you. They have a track record of incompetence, including:
Paying employees late, in most cases 2 months later than they should. One employee was caught working in a mall while under contract and another had to apply for food stamps due to lack of payment.
Refusing to pay medical bills of wrestlers injured on their shows, including one guy who broke his neck during a match. He was later released while recovering from his injuries. They also chose not to help pay medical bills of a wrestler who was diagnosed with cancer while under contract. He and his girlfriend later started a fundraising page asking fans to help pay for his treatments, which upset people in management because they thought it made the company look bad.
Having little regard for the safety of their employees. Incidents include allowing an NFL player with no training whatsoever to basically drop a wrestler directly on his head and sending another guy out for a match while he was stoned off his ***.
The reason why Hernandez was contacted to return to Impact was because one of the wrestlers on the roster wanted to work with him by the ring name of MVP. After that whole contract issue went down, Impact placed the blame on MVP instead of anyone backstage and fired him.

I used to be a nut for ECW back in the late 90's, and got all their PPV's long before they had a Friday night show on Spike TV(?). After WWE took them over, I lost ALL interest in wrestling. I don't watch LU very often, but man it's entertaining from the little I've seen. The level of soap opera-ness they have going on with the skits is marvelous! Plus I like how the guy who runs the fed seems to have his angles for why guys wrestle sometimes...instead of just manufacturing some stupid feud like WWE does. And best of all it's got the real grass roots feel to it as far as the wrestling is concerned.
I highly recommend it! But I also highly recommend playing Tecmo Bowl. Unfortunately people compare my enthusiasm for playing Tecmo Bowl with my friends to uh....the equivalent of being a meth addict. So by all means take my short sided opinion with a grain of salt.

My god what a show.
I lost my **** when I saw Pentagon come up from behind on Mil. Awesome. Just awesome
It was nuts! I loved all the twists on tonight's show to get it started. My favorite wrestler King Cuerno did great, the story line on how Vampiro gets back to the temple was awesome, and seeing Puma and Pentagon Jr was amazing. Can't wait for next week!

King Cuerno is a great technical wrestler and never in a bad match. The Thrill of the Hunt, Arrow from the Depths of Hell, his modified crab submission, and now this modified piledriver are just awesome.Agreed with everything you said. I also want to point out that this happened

Thinking of the level of brutality from the Grave Consequences match makes me excited to think what kind of match him and Pentagon Jr. may have.
I really wonder how they will be incorporating Mysterio in the story line. Seeking revenge against Jade and Dario Cueto for what they did to Dragon Azteca? When does Matanza join in on the action? When will Vampiro suffer his next breakdown? There are a ton of great possible story lines this season.
