Pretty unreal performance by the Fever. They played really, really well against arguably the best team in the league.
Amazing how many shots by the Lynx hit the inside of one side of the rim, the inside of the other side of the rim and out. They just couldn't hit anything. By the fourth quarter it was clear they were hurrying shots with no confidence they were going to go in. That being said, the officiating in the third quarter was atrocious. Fever were wrapping both arms around players and when they would try to push the player off of them they got called for an offensive foul.
There was one on Collier defending Boston that was particularly bad. I’m not sure what she could have possibly done differently or better.
Bigger issue was Lynx offense just went dead.
The person doing color said that should have been a foul on Boston. Also the announcers said that the fever coach talked about them getting more physical. The issue is that if you get physical the other team will also get physical and if people think they are tough on CC now just wait and see how much worse it will get. I don't like the game when officials" just let them play" and allow people getting shoved, hit or grabbed and held like we saw in the game.
