I assume you are just trolling and don't actually really think Clark is not in shape. I think I read that she went all the way through HS and college without missing a single game, some of that is just good fortune but you can't be in bad shape and play the minutes she has over the last 10 years.
We are talking about three different types of play HS and college are not like what the WNBA is today. You tell me why she never missed in the first two but has missed a number of games now?

Maybe if she were a billionaire she'd get more people wanting to come out and watch her play. She can't even sell out Wintrust which is barely over 10,000 capacity, lol.
You should really start charging her rent. You could make a fortune.

Hey congrats for keeping the whole "living rent free" thing alive. I would've thought that'd died out in the late 2010s. Good work.

The anger continues to day 3! Think it’s time to have a chat about durability. You’re only the best player if you play, ask Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway.

I think Stephanie White has figured out how to keep the head coaching job at the Fever. One complaint that was constantly made about her predecessor was that she "didn't fight enough for her players." White definitely has that one down. I don't think a game goes by that according to her, her team can't get a fair shake from the officials. Yes there are some bad calls - everyone deals with them - but there isn't some officiating conspiracy against the Fever.

Rebecca Lobo is clearly a Clarkie.

Watch any WNBA game and you are going to see calls that should have been made and calls that are NOT fouls made. I see way to much back and forth with officials/coaches/players. Last weekend I saw the Lynx coach get tee'd up and in another a player argued with an official and got two T's and was ejected. Both were calls that should have been made but are not done enough. The Lynx call was because the coach felt there should have been a call that was not made and the players call was because she made a foul but felt it should not have been called.

she's probably right and every other coach in the league could probably say the same thing.

the W refs are incredibly bad. I doubt it pays enough to get better anytime soon either.

Isn't that the point that Coach White is trying to make? There is a league wide issue with the officiating?

I agree with the coach's assessment - my wife was watching the Sky v. Suns game last night when a 'fight' broke out because the officials missed a somewhat obvious high elbow to the back of player A's head which resulted in Player A 'dishing out' her own 'physicality' on Player B. Player C came to the defense of Player B and all three ended up ejected from the contest. At that point the officials 'hands were tied', but the entire situation could've been avoided had the initial call been made when the foul occurred.

The coaches and players are competitors and want to win, they are obviously frustrated with the officiating. I don't think it is fair to 'take a shot' at either a coach fighting for their players (**cough** **cough** Paul Rhodes **cough** **cough**) or for the players getting frustrated. The league has a lot more eyeballs on them now and perhaps they need to enhance the crews they have officiating the games.

They're truly awful. And White isn't the only coach that calls out the horrible officiating.

That was the point I was making the officials let too much go early ( you know the announcers saying "let them play") then the game gets out of hand and the calls get made or a fight breaks out. IMHO the refs do too much allowing players to complain to their face. If it was a foul, call it and if the player gets in their face one warning then a T. Coaches should get the same treatment they can ask/comment once on a call then it is over. The one issue that needs to be taken care of are reviews, there should be a time limit for the ref's. They take way to long many times to make a decision which just adds to the problem.

That and I'd swear there's some sort of quota each game on calls for illegal picks in the back court. They'll literally let someone get mugged down by the rim, but if a defender bumps too hard into someone setting a pick it's automatically called an illegal pick, even if the offensive player was in position and not moving while setting said pick. Just really stupid.

I'd be willing to bet part of it had to do with her boyfriend's family losing a loved one and her wanting to be there for him. I'm sure her teammates would understand that.

Ah, so she took bereavement leave.
