I really don’t get why coaches say things like “I’m here until I retire unless someone pays me $250M” then leave a week later. I don’t get why anyone ever trusts him again
Lets put it this way. A guy says, I would not eat **** for a milion dollars. Then, someone puts 750,000 on the table with 8 oz of ****. WELL.... Not sure what percent would not you know.

Not only is he going to make that, it’s not like he’s starting from a baseline of $0. He’s been making millions for years.
And USC bought both of his houses in Norman for $500,000 above value and are giving him a 6 million dollar home and the use of a private jet. He doesn't need to worry about the cost of gas

Who else is going to watch Rudy tonight?

are you talking about the movie starring A Hobbit, Ned Beatty and Vince Vaughn?

or are you talking about physically watching Rudy, Matt Campbell’s son, named after the movie starring A Hobbit, Ned Beatty, and Vince Vaughn?

Really? I have heard discussions on national sports talk programs that professional athletes sometimes limit where they are open to going because of the excessive taxation in some states.

No they don’t.

It’s what franchises like the spurs and rockets and magic etc use to try to argue why some hot shot free agent would go there.

same thing for coaches. Ut people thought they would get higher than their 6th choice because on no income tax in Texas

Will be interesting to see if ND would wait for Fickell. Clearly they can do things behind the scenes but with a potential playoff he’s not going to accept publicly until after. Freeman and Campbell could happen now.
