I hate Iowa but...

They are 2-2 vs. Penn State
5-1 vs. Michigan
2-8 vs. Ohio State in the last decade which is better than most,

Would they make the Big 10 title game? Heck no. But while I wish the football program at Iowa would crash and burn and be basically Kansas West - the idea that they only beat up on the sisters of the weak in the Big 10 is not entirely accurate.

a lot of smoke on twitter and social media about USC but I still think that Campbell stays.
Iowa is 1-1 vs Michigan since Harbaugh took over. If you want to make it look good you can include the Rich Rod and Hoke eras when Michigan sucked. You can keep going further back and make it look bad.
In the 8 years since they went to East-West divisions they’ve played OSU once and Michigan twice. And the west has been one of the 2 worst P5 divisions every year since it started. It’s a trash division and Iowa’s cross overs have been as weak as possible. None of this is debatable.

Napier is taking the Florida job so that’s one less domino to fall. Also heard CMC turned down USC as has been mentioned on here I believe.
Harbaugh beating OSU buys him another 6/7 years easily.
I'm still amazed Napier is going to Florida and that LSU didn't go after him immediately after Riley turned them down. Napier is gonna be a star at some point - too bad he is going to the dumpster fire that is the Florida football program.

I totally agree with this. Think Napier should have been the first choice for LSU. They have to be getting desperate the coaching ranks are looking very thin.

Btw I never really saw the appeal of the Washington job. Outside of some super rich alums (who don’t seem to care about sports) there really isn’t much upside
Eh, its a pretty good job. If you compare it to the Big 10, it would probably be comparable to Penn State. #3 in the conference

Historically Washington has been a pretty good piece in the PAC. I used to hate them as a kid because I was a huge Miami fan and for a while those two were dominate. Then they were pretty good under Nuehisel and Peterson

Not exactly sure.
Didn't you just clinch a berth in the Big 10 championship. Go celebrate that somewhere else. Were Iowa State fans on your boards after doing the exact same thing last year (except we had to play the same schedule as every other team in our conference)?
They need our validation.

They have great fan support by PAC standards. A fair drop off after USC and Oregon in best jobs in the conference but still a solid job. I would be very nervous about any PAC job outside of USC and Oregon. Revenue and stability are not great long term.
