Hey aTm, now ya'll are nice guys (trying to make you feel welcome) but wake up and smell the coffee and grits. You will be about the 9th or 10th best team in the SEC and that is if Miss. State does not get any better. Now I know you are a once proud program, but if you though getting drilled by UT and OU was bad, wait until you get to the SEC. I like you guys, seem a lot like us but with more money. Stick around and enjoy the party with the rest of us. I know she looks pretty (SEC) but you are looking at her form a distance, there is a boat load of makeup on her and she won't be quite as hot in the morning when you sober up.

I agree on Al on this one. I don't think any one team controls what the future holds for ISU outside of Texas. If Texas stays, I think ISU is not going to see much change. If Texas goes, ISU could end up in probably five different conferences (one or two with BCS chances), but I don't think ISU enhances any package deal. So I don't see anyway in which Kansas or Missouri influence where we end up. ISU is going to end up getting a good invite because some conference overplays its hand, or ISU might end up in conference USA or the MAC because the slots were filled with other schools.
I think this isn't so bad. If the SEC takes two and goes to 14, the PAC 10 takes 1 or 3 and gets to 12 or 14. That stops the likely raid of the Big East and gives ISU, KSU, KU, and Mizzou a likely home.
Looks like it's down to KSU, MU, Baylor, and us being left out. Big East is interested in at least the first two, from what everything has sounded like. Now, will MU hold out and wait for the Big Ten?
Maybe Farmageddon will be all we have left of the Big XII, whatever conference we end up in. :wideeyed:

This is what I don't understand. Why in the world would KU want to go to the PAC 10 without KSU or multiple teams from the north? How in the world would that make any sense? Plus, what indication is there that the PAC 10 even wants KU? They bring very little, football wise.
What I don't get is why would ATM really want to invite the cheatingest conference in the country into their state? ATM (and UT) for the most part do things on the level. That's not the case in the SEC. Do you REALLY want Nick Saban and Urban Meyer rolling into your state paying off recruits? Also, academically, it doesn't make a lot of sense.
Would A&M even make bowl games in the SEC? I don't think they would.

I agree with this to an extent, but it is a nice thought to imagine never seeing a KpUke fan in Hilton again.
what would be worse. Being KU and getting pounded in the Pac10, ATM getting pounded in the SEC, or us getting pounded in MAC/CUSA?
