5 guys > bbops. Never understood the obsession with that place
bbops burgers are a little above average but their fries are good. And it's half the price.5 guys > bbops. Never understood the obsession with that place
Most expensive burger joint I have ever been to. I have to say it was a good burger. However, if you have a family of 4 or so. Go somewhere else or pay a dollar or two more and get steaks somewhere else.
I loved BBops when I was in Ames 20 years ago (which had no BBops and we hit it when we were in DM.) When they expanded to CR a while ago, they weren't good at all.
It's been years since I've been to a 5 Guys. I recall I wasn't that impressed since it was way too greasy.
In-N-Out, Zombie Burger (DM only--one in Coralville sucked), Burgerfeen, and Shake Shack are all better burger joints than BBop and 5 Guys.

I don't like how their regular burgers are 2 patties. Made that mistake when I first went there.
Culver's makes a solid fast food burger.I think Culver's consistently being left out of these burger debates is criminal.
That stuff is the worst.
WHAT?!?!?! That's the best part.
This is America, doubles are now Juniors, triples are singles, half gallon pop is a medium, try to keep up.But I didn't want a double.
