Guess Yanks will go with rookie Cam Schlittler and are ready to activate last years ROY, Gil. Learning to pitch kid Schlittler is probably better than Stroman, anyway, that was my thought before this and guess that's the case.

AJ Preller just traded a consensus top-5 prospect in all of baseball for a relief pitcher. hmm

Mason Miler is an absolute stud closer. Still a steep price.

All three of the new Yankee relievers pitched like dog crap tonight. Combined to give up 9 runs to blow a game the Yanks were sitting at a 90% chance to win after 6 innings leading 9-4. Wow.

Saw where the Brewers had 25 hits in beating the Nationals tonight. 18 of them were singles (plus 3 walks). As an aside they hit 4 HR's & 3 Doubles.

Good lord a nod to coors field games of the past. Pittsburgh scores 9 in first 16 for the game but Rockies get 17 and win.

My dreams of worst modern record are shrinking by the day.

Lethargic Yankees drop to 24-29 in games since end of May. Team needs a kick in the ass. Seriously, they have to fire Boone at some point. He's the center of their laissez-faire culture. It's like they are all on drugs and trying to play while high as a kite.

And when they **** up there is only one guy on the active roster that is accountable and that's Stanton. He NEVER excuses anything and takes personal responsibility, something no one else on the team does and it starts with their whiny weak sauce manager. Mentally the weakest team in MLB.

Edit. Been a Yankee fan since Mantle was playing and I have a visceral hatred for Boone. Been a ton of managers in the last 60 years for the Yanks and I didn't like them all but Boone is the only one I actually HATE.
