***2026 ISU Volleyball Thread***

Since trick-or-treating got done, we’ve been watching non-stop. So exciting to see us be deliberate, poised, and ready to put the hammer down, so to speak.

I know still a ways to go yet but right now what type of seed would we be looking at for the NCAA Tournament?

During the game the announcer said ISU was projected as an 8 seed. You’d have to think they go up, beating two ranked teams this week. They should be ranked also.

From the NCAA vball page, Iowa State's RPI was 25 as of October 27th. That was BEFORE defeating both #19 RPI Baylor and now #4 Arizona State. We will definitely shoot up a good chunk of places with the next ranking (presumably released Monday). Keep this momentum up!

Let's hope this upset is a harbinger of things to come when playing ASU this weekend...

That was an amazing game. Tons of energy in Hilton, a much better treat then trick.

Hoping Paula is okay (saw her in street clothes) and that there isn’t anything wrong with Goolsby. When she got pulled halfway through the 3rd and Tia stayed in wondered if it was a tweak or matchup.

Hopefully this will keep rolling with all the road game’s upcoming.

ISU has now positioned themselves to host first weekend NCAA tourney matches but still plenty of work to do.

What a great win and what a match that was,

CJL’s subbing of Ti’a for Goolsby changed the match to ISU’s favor. The trio of Ti’a, Jackson and Duckworth provided the best quality of OH play that ISU has had in recent years.

Brandt’s setting and choices tonight was off the charts.

And the libero play by both RVG and Frame for ASU was AA quality.

The job that CJL and her staff has done with this team since the UNI match has been outstanding.
