Jackson: 9 kills/.273, 5 blocks
Hanfelt: 9 kills/.474, 6 blocks
Goolsby: 9 kills/.161, 3 blocks
Hendricks-Walker: 3 kills, 4 blocks
Van Gorp: 25 digs
Most of RVG's 25 digs were phenomenal. BU has some hard-hitting servers & spikers! Really impressed with her play, especially tonight. She is so fun to watch & cheer for.

The emergence of Hanfelt at MB over the past few weeks has been something else along with the move of Jackson from MB to RS. Has also helped that Goolsby has broken out of her slump and RVG continues her AA level of play.

Looks like Pam is done for the year. Hurts depth at MB but Hanfield has really played well the last few matches.
Do you know what happened? Was it a really bad sprain?

And does anyone know what is keeping Ava Martin out?

Was wondering the same thing. CJL keeps injuries pretty hush hush. AHW was in street clothes a couple weeks ago and is now back playing.

Is there anything concrete out there on Pam?

Pam got "tangled up" with one of her teammates on a play by the net towards the end of the home Arizona match. She left the game and hasn't played again. I think she had a boot on at the Baylor match. She was dressed in street clothes.

I guess I haven't noticed us not wearing ankle braces this year. I thought that was a given. It has saved my daughter serious injury numerous times.

Volleyball is not an easy sport.

Minnesota volleyball has seen a significant number of season-ending injuries in 2025, with four starters sidelined: outside hitter Mckenna Wucherer (back injury), libero Zeynep Palabiyik (knee), middle blocker Calissa Minatee (lower leg injury), and outside hitter Alex Acevedo (lower leg injury). All four players are expected to return for the 2026 season.
  • Mckenna Wucherer:
An outside hitter, she is out for the season with a back injury and will redshirt to prepare for 2026.
  • Zeynep Palabiyik:
A junior libero, she tore a knee ligament (ACL) in late August and will miss the remainder of the 2025 season.
  • Calissa Minatee:
A junior middle blocker, she suffered a season-ending lower leg injury and was the team's most efficient hitter.
  • Alex Acevedo:
A sophomore outside hitter, she was having a breakout season but is out for the year due to a lower leg injury.

BYU is in a similar position. Have a ton of injuries to their front row

That was us last year. This year we’ve only been hit like football to 1 position group- MB. Luckily we have some (new found) depth there/

Hoping for a good crowd tonight, although with trick or treating happening and the fact that at most volleyball games there are typically lots of families in attendance, it's probably gonna be a much older crowd.

ASU is REALLY REALLY good though. We haven' seen an opponent in Hilton like this probably since Texas last visited. But even then, this ASU team just has the fire power of Nebraska teams. Going to be a tough match.

Yeah, she landed on the foot of Brandt and evidently did more damage than a typical ankle sprain. Feel awful for her and the team as they try to get in the NCAAs.

Football playoffs are also tonight.

Been watching on tv as we give out treats. Surprising and exciting to see us tied at 1-1. We’re really playing better these days!
