Iowa State breaks into the rankings at #24. The RPI jumped from 25 to 19 after last week. We leapfrogged Baylor, while ASU held steady at 4.
I am very flabbergasted by this ranking. I thought we would at least be at 20 and certainly ahead of Baylor (they are #23), they lost twice last week.
Ugh. Newly ranked #24 ISU drops first set on the road at UCF 25-20.

cant seem to get it going. and I don't usually complain about the announcers but these 2 are worse than homers in the calls and voice and excitement for UCF. Maybe bodes well for the football team to have a good game.
Wow. Swept by a really mediocre UCF squad on the road. Not impressive play by ISU at all. Played from behind virtually the entire match. Regroup and get the next one. But we shouldn't be losing to teams that low in the standings by this point, knowing how the Cyclones CAN play.
Tonight was an absolute masterpiece of bench management by CJL tonight vs Houston. And hats off to the players who did come off the bench or slid to a different role mid match to bail out the win vs the worst team in the conference (Wachholz, DeRonde, Martin, Ti’a, Brenizer).
Bench players absolutely were the difference tonight. Hats off to coach for making the changes when the regular rotation was struggling.
