No real surprises, all matches pretty much went as you would have suspected. For those who watched or were in attendance can we get your input on the matches/ how guys looked TIA
That’s the main match I was intrigued by as well…def think both powe and Helgeson have some upside and bright future…No real surprises, all matches pretty much went as you would have suspected.
IMO best match was Powe vs J. Helgeson. Helgeson made it a match with a late slide by. Powe has potential, kinda doubt he can beat Gaitan
That’s about it.
I can’t believe the size difference between the two, Osmany looked huge compared to Ech. Definitely think Ech held back. That’s the main match I was intrigued by as well…def think both powe and Helgeson have some upside and bright future…
Personally expected a larger margin of victory for Ech over Osmany, more of a testament to Osmany growth and Ech just doing what he had to?
I’ll be curious about this match, hard to gauge powe against someone like helgeson. Powe seems like he wrestles a style that could give gaitan some trouble if the talent discrepancy is not too large. Powe felt in control that whole match despite the somewhat close score, kind of has a paniro feel to him where he really turns it up when he decides to score. No real surprises, all matches pretty much went as you would have suspected.

I mostly agree with this. I thought Powe controlled the match, and was actually pretty agressive. Moving forward, big snaps, and several nice singles. He was just unable to beat Helgeson’s whizzer.I’ll be curious about this match, hard to gauge powe against someone like helgeson. See post 46 yes euton/rigginsOne question I had here… I wonder (hope) that this means Euton “advances” so we can see riggins and Euton tomorrow
I thought Powe looked quick and was able to get to the legs consistently. This doesn't play to MJ's strengths. I expect this on the be very interesting.I mostly agree with this. Osmany looks like a natural 41. He didn't have much offense, but Ech is hard to score on. I don't know about holding back but was impressed Osmany was able to keep it close.I can’t believe the size difference between the two, Osmany looked huge compared to Ech. Definitely think Ech held back.
Whoops somehow just glanced right over that, thanks.See post 46 yes euton/riggins
Held back was the wrong wording. I just think both those guys respected the other when it came to trying to generate offense and a wrong move could be tough to come back from.Osmany looks like a natural 41. It is very hard to predict. Wrestle offs are weird and these are some fairly even matchups. I’d expect Gaitan to win fairly comfortably, but the rest I have no ideaLooking fwd to results today. Anyone interested in giving an educated rundown on the key matchups? Euton/Riggins, Frost/PJ. Castillo/Perryman and Gaitan/Powe interesting too.
