Probably not a guy we'll look at but a very good player from where I live. Great shooter and good defender (3.1 steals/game). Coming fom a very good team this year UC San Diego...

He's listed as a senior and played 2 years at UCSB, but the first two years were either JUCO or a lower division (stats aren't in basketball-reference) he probably has one year to play. 110 steals in a season is crazy - Tamin had 96 last year. I think Tinsley has the ISU record with 98.

Looks like he was playing D2 for 2 years. Apparently D2 is being treated same as JUCO years? Didn't realize that, so he'd have 2 years of eligibility.

He would be a good fit as a SG while the freshmen guards develop. Then hopefully Toure and Batemon can take over in 26/27.

It’s time to tax the church… BYU is getting too good
Past time - look at the homes of the mega pastors.

Anyway - BYU probably has the $ to buy any players they want. In this Wild West era of NIL I think you will see significant stratification of team by $. Cinderella is dead. I suspect we will not be in the upper 50% so we must continue bargain shopping.

Wait are you saying Joel Olstein is giving Houston money down there? Just kidding. Joel would not give the shirt off his back to a homeless kid.

That'd be a definite "get."

Ideally, he also should be a slasher, bucket-getter, lock-down pick-pocket defender, rim-protector, good in transition, shoot 92% from the line on high-volume and have two years of eligibility remaining.

Prime Michael Jordan would probably do
