***2025 PGA Tour Thread***

this has been an amazing comeback. I can't imagine if this thing ends up 14-14 and Europe retains the cup due to a medical forfeit. So weak.

I'm sick of listening to Paul McGinley saying how much character all the Euros have. So much character to get your a**es kicked all day, huh? I was hard on the Americans all week this week, but they've shown their pride today.

The Americans need to figure out how to be better teammates in pairings. That’s been their downfall for a while.

The Euros will come away with 1 win today out of 12 matches. That's honestly way more embarrassing then how the U.S. performed Friday and Saturday.

Good info! Still doesn't make it a good rule. I think that needs changed. Or get alternates or something? Nobody should be rewarded a half point for not showing up.
Before the world went to **** golf was considered a gentleman’s game, I suspect that’s where it started. Also Harris English sucks and would have definitely lost to Hovland.

He might not have lost to an injured Hovland who couldn’t move his neck.

Some people still treat it as a gentlemen's game... not many NY fans unfortunately.

And nobody knows who would have won that last match... did you think McIlroy, Rahm, Fleetwood, and Rose would all lose today?

I’d say there’s a reason English’s name was in the envelope.

U.S. outscores Europe 8.5 to 3.5 in singles, and still loses by 2. Aberg was the only match winner for the Euros.

Good question, I don’t know about that.
Just shows how stupid the rule is. If someone is up 5 holes after playing 5 holes, and the opponent medical forfeits.... I'm assuming they get a half point?

Or is that somehow... "different"?

Well it’s very clearly different since the match had started, but I don’t know what happens.
