They're just wrong? How could anyone honestly think the DL is a need over RB or QB? Nonsense. Giants were top-10 in the league in sacks. DL is not the area of need. Dexter Lawrence and KT are studs, also Brian Burns.
Giants fan here. You have to draft the best player available. We’re so desperate for talent that you can’t pass up an impact player. He gives you a lot of options for rushing the passer, which improves the entire defense.

It's a good pick. It’s a smart pick.

I don't really care where Sanders goes but him falling will be the biggest headline of the draft. Once Prime puts his narrative out, it will have nothing to do with football, his fanbase will eat it up and make it political or some conspiracy theory against Coach Prime. It'll be an ugly cloud over the draft and will consume NFL media all summer.

Additionally, NFL.com, PFF, Sharp Football analysis, Pro Football Network Bleacher Report also listed D-line as a need for NY. I guess they all must be stupid.
Interior DL is a huge need - maybe biggest on team. Edge isn’t. Just depends on if you break them out or lump them together.

You're not wrong, right up to it consuming NFL media all summer. You might get a week of discussion out of it, but the NFL news cycle will move on pretty fast. It's not like he's going to fall out of the draft entirely. He'll be a second rounder, probably an early one. That's not exactly a total rejection.

Well, hopefully it will be the biggest story all of next season, that he is a huge bust.

I just disagree. We're not desperate for talent on the DL. We could've addressed legit areas of need or traded down to stockpile some draft value for the pick. Of all the units on the field the DL is the last one that need any kind of improvement.

Green Bay made the right choice. Watson is constantly hurt and our other top guy Daubs has concussion issues. Plus none of them are really number one guys. We need a number me guy to go alongside of Reed. Golden is a burner. Tyreke Hill type. Hopefully he can be close to being as good as Hill

Wait. Pretty sure Eagles beat Chiefs. Why are Eagles ahead of Chiefs?

NFL sure knows how to hype up one of the most boring events of the year. I’ve watched almost two NBA playoff games in the time it’s taken them to pick 32 players. They really need to pick up the pace.
Who won?

Agree with you - we aren’t desperate for edge (we are for interior DL) but you can never have too many pass rushers as evidenced by the 2007 and 2011 teams. When you draft for need, you end up with Daniel jones at #6 or John Michael Schmitz as your second round pick. That is why we’ve sucked for a decade.

The draft will eat the NBA playoffs for lunch in the TV ratings. A long draft means more ad revenue.
