Even in their glory years with Garza I remember seeing they’d be matched against Oregon and it was the easiest upset pick of my bracket. They just are so soft.Fran only made 7 tourneys? Did I see that right? They really weren't ever very good.

Have to give it to the guy, he was remarkably consistent in fielding a team that was slightly above average.
Your point stands, but in 2020 they would have made it.
Is Devries a Hawk alum or something? Why make the move?
#TheyDidItTheRightWay lolFran only made 7 tourneys? Did I see that right? They really weren't ever very good.
DeVries is essentially the same age as Fran was when we was hired at Iowa. I’d argue Fran had accomplished more at that point than DeVries has.
Not saying he’d be a bad hire, but it’s no slam dunk either.
That was by far his best teamYour point stands, but in 2020 they would have made it.

He wouldve had almost his whole team back next year how would that be a rebuild.Eh, Darian jumped because there was a full rebuild coming at Drake and he needed to make a move while his stock was as high as it possibly could be.
Brodie was gone and there was no way he was keeping Overton. Hanging on to Wright and Garland was questionable as well.He wouldve had almost his whole team back next year how would that be a rebuild.
NoFran has almost as many ejections (5) as he does NCAA appearances?
GatensIt’s DeVries. Already done. Hard to argue with that choice. May or may not work out of course, but should bring some legit support out of hiding, which won’t hurt.
News said over 5 million. So they would owe Fran 4.2 million and West Virgina 5? So 9-10 million to get rid of Fran and get Devries.DeVries buyout at WV is $3.25 million?
