Knowing Iowa, they probably think they can get Calipari, Drew, or Pearl. But will end up hiring WDM Valley's coach after he wins another state championship.

Maybe in their minds, but reality points to being whichever low major coach does better than expected next week in the NCAA first round and gets bumped before making a Sweet Sixteen. As is tradition.

The only thing she's done is not being Gary Barta. This is her first real important hire to make, so we'll see how it goes. I don't count the WBB move, as Bluder retiring and handing it off to Jensen was pretty simple and obvious.

Devries will have to really love the idea of being at Iowa to give up significant NIL resources for peanuts.

MCCollum might have the choice between IU and UI.

To get McCollum you are gonna need to pay Stirtz too. He ain't gonna leave him behind.Stirtz is gonna cost a lot. Maybe 7 figures

And Barta inherited Ferentz, Brands, and Bluder. He never had to make a hire in those 3 sports. His only major hires were Lickliter and Fran.

Beth may end up replacing the entirety of the big 4 in her first 5 years.

I know. He did fantastic things at WV. He took a team who in Huggins last year went 19-15 and this year went……..checks notes…..19-13.

UNI grad I believe. If McDermott really does go to Indiana (which would surprise me but what do I know?)-I would think DeVries is Creighton’s first call
