Speaking of soybeans, anyone have some favorite bean varieties to deal with IDC? Our soils are almost all prone to it at least in some portion of the field. Thinking next year I might want to go harder into IDC tolerance than I have been so far.

is IDC your biggest issue in beans?

every year?

20Z14E and 27Z41E are rated a 7 on IDC. The 20 look really good in some hot spots around here. Also VRS has helped improve some beans on IDC.

I don't have as long of track record as some, it's my 4th year farming in earnest but I'd call it the most consistent one at the very least. Combination of high soil ph and some poorly drained soil means it'll rear its head in parts of fields every year.
