Sounds like something bad that could have been worse.Sorting cattle yesterday and mature bulls rolled employee along fence as they ran by. Lucky he wasn’t standing in fence. Read one time farming is a high risk environment, probably true fact.

I think they remove some of the field signs around harvest. So that is why Pioneer signs have disappeared in my area. They aren’t called Pioneer anymore. I was thinking there was another reason.
I thought farmers were invincible? Maybe not. 200# vs. 2000# is not a good bet.Sounds like something bad that could have been worse.
Zero to 270 at my place. The zero places are smaller this year compared to last year, so that is good.I wouldn't understand the decision to throw away the Pioneer brand when they've spent 100 years building equity in it. What yields are people seeing?

They haven't had a booth at Farm Progress for a few years.I had also heard that Corteva didn't have a booth at the 2025 Farm Progress this year in Decatur. I may be wrong. If they didn't I can see why now. I also heard some of their hybrids in the area had tassel leaf wrap issues.

SpinCo is a common placeholder in corporate splits. Google: Comcast SpinCoThere's a zero percent chance the Pioneer brand name goes away. The parent company may be called SpinCo, but they will not rebrand.
I just spoke to my cousin, he farms down in Appanoose County, they just finished up their corn, was getting anywhere from 200 to around 230 an acre. They were starting on beans when I spoke to him tonight. He said they sprayed once and you could see where they hit and where they missed, and wished he had sprayed a second time. People around him that spread twice were getting 260 an acre on their corn.I wouldn't understand the decision to throw away the Pioneer brand when they've spent 100 years building equity in it. LOL everyone that farms realizes it is a high risk environment, add livestock to the mix and it just goes upExciting times. Combine bearing on chopper went out & caught back end on fire, son put it out quickly with fire extinguisher. Field trash caught fire & couldn’t get it completely out so local FD sprayed water with stump jumper truck and ended the drama. Put new bearing in and back combining 3 hours later. Combines go thru Agrivision Program every winter but you never know. Sorting cattle yesterday and mature bulls rolled employee along fence as they ran by. Lucky he wasn’t standing in fence. I'd be stunned if the Pioneer nameplate disappeared.I wouldn't understand the decision to throw away the Pioneer brand when they've spent 100 years building equity in it. What yields are people seeing?
Yeah it was concrete it looks like. This happens occasionally. I remember Rake IA elevator (also concrete) collapsing too a decade+ ago.The silo looks like it was concrete? They might have seen cracks in it? Or heard the cracks happen.
