This sounds cowardly but is it because they and us don't want losses where they could have guaranteed wins?

This and I bet coaches like getting the guys not expected to be in the rotation some action to help see if/where they could provide valuable minutes when needed.

Only bummer is that, other than Iowa, the high major games are road or neutral site.

So weird to think Iowa will have nothing but new players next year. I guess that won't be the only team like that, but just hard to imagine having an entire roster turnover.

Correct. 'Secret' scrimmages are a thing of the past.

You can play 2 public exhibitions with any other 4 year school regardless of division.

Am I right to assume that they need to bring back exhibition games for added revenue? Even an exhibition against Northwestern and Creighton would likely be a sellout.

October basketball tailgate this fall, since CyTown is 2 years away, sign me up 11/10 times
