I think it’s been played in June every year since the early 90s. 91 maybe? Just going to get longer with players “needing” more days off between games.
Should be a fun series! Carolina was the best Eastern Conference team all year. Vegas has been a buzzsaw since their coaching change.
OK. So that’s one thing that ESPN does well, the opening video to a series. That was awesome showcasing Bourque and then bring that into the failures these players and teams have seen.
I was worried we were going to have a dud of a series. Apparently, Vegas came to play and that Tortorella guy can really coach.

As a canes fan I’m gutted the boys didn’t pull this one out. As a hockey fan I gotta say that was one hell of a setup
Moving from downtown Dallas to 20 miles North of Dallas. Interesting choice
Of course, I still am not over the North Stars moving to Dallas. And Norm Green still sucks almost 35 years later
Calling Plano "20 miles north of Dallas" is one of those things that's technically accurate, but spiritually misses the point.
That's not going to hurt their following one bit. From where that arena's going, you have another 20 miles before you're in the country, and those northern 'burbs are full of transplants from points north.
