They don’t even really run much offense through him which is weird for being the franchise player. And it seemed like NY wasn’t affected that much even with Wemby’s defense. They were not shying away from going straight at him.
I want to believe the hype that the media creates about him but I just don’t see it yet.

Both things can be true. The Spurs choked, but the Knicks played out of their minds in the playoffs. You have to be mentally strong to do what they did.
I’m so impressed by Jalen Brunson. Fearless. Drives to the basket against anyone, and finds a way to put the ball in the basket.
His potential is clear to see. Whether he hits it is another thing. He doesn’t seem to have the go to mentality or just refusal to lose you see in the great players. He might work towards it because he’s so young but it’s lacking right now
I'd go on about how the NBA and the media got their champion that they've been pushing for ~50 years... but the way the Spurs choked away double digit leads in every loss, including the 30-point lead the other day, I don't really feel like it at the moment.

I'm good with it for the Knicks players (especially Brunson), their Fans and their ball licking media....NO.
It was more of the Knicks powering through. One of the greatest postseason runs ever. Stop the hate.

They went 16-3 in the playoffs. Regardless of whether you think the Spurs choked that is incredibly impressive.
I'm guessing they don't usually play on Saturday nights. I bet they were making way for the presidents birthday and the circus going on with that.
Did the Yankees cease to be a New York sports team? Seems their multi year runs are a bit more impactful than a 2 month hot streak.
