Flashback to last year's finals where the officials let the Thunder clobber the Pacers on traps.

Love to see an superstar that shows so much emotion because they care. It’s been a while since I remember a player want it that bad. Might be since Kobe or Jordan that I feel like a guy puts so much into winning as Wemby.

I don't love the Spurs (I'm convinced they were gifted Wembamyama the way the Mavericks were gifted the #1 draft pick the same year they traded Doncic to LA)... but I'm a generational Knicks hater, so go Spurs.

Unlike some superstars who show fake emotion this is legit real emotion.

Reminds me of Giannis is their finals run.

I simply don't folllow much at all and Wemby's a force but the Spurs look like a 'sum of the parts' group which is a favorite type to watch.
Yeah, Wemby is incredible but outside of him you have a bunch of dudes that just get the job done. It's a lot like OKC from a few years ago before they started flopping nonstop.

Same here, my bulls fandom from 90's has no love for Knicks. **** em.

I just remember back to the all star game and saw him giving that effort then too. I hope he really starts a trend and he really turns the league around by instilling that attitude from more players.

Wemby is such a force defensively. Still needs some polish on the offensive end.

Spurs backcourt is great. 17 3s on 43% 3-point shooting. Was the difference in the game

Literally can’t play against Wemby

But I thought Miller’s comment was spot on where he said he prefer him to be 1-15 than 1-2. He seemed scared to try to take on Wemby. Maybe you don’t get a great percentage, but it may have put Wemby in further foul trouble to challenge him.
