Don’t worry, the Saudi’s will pick that tab up with no problem

There’s been a lot of talk about how the CFP will affect these coaching searches. If coaches make and advance in the playoffs, will AD’s be patient enough to wait to make a decision until those are done? Is a coach like Kiffin sleazy enough to be interviewing when his team is getting ready for the playoffs? Cause in this day and age there is zero chance that stays secret. It is t like Pollard is running these searches.
FIFYCollege athletics is f*cked. None of this is sustainable.
I don't think OU has the funds of the other places. Even though OU is only a few hours from Texas its still not "in-state" and there isn't anything really any place except South of Oklahoma. It was pretty fertile when they were in the Big 12 but its probably not much better than Missouri or Arkansas in terms of local talentI know this is an inherently subjective ranking but I don’t think Oklahoma can be that low. It’s basically just as easy of a drive for a recruit from the Dallas area to get to Norman as it is to go to Texas or A&M and there is a long history of top recruits in Texas heading up to Oklahoma to play.
I’m not saying OU should be at the same level as Texas or anything but I don’t think that can be considered a bottom half of the league job either given the long list of Heisman trophy winners and playoff appearances and everything else.
Sparty is 100% (donors have already been outreached and smith was going against their wishes) new AD that didn’t hire him and the alumni want him gone.Va Tech
Arkansas
FSU most likely
Michigan State most likely
Kentucky most likely
NC State possibly
SEC alone will have at least 4 and if Beamer goes to VA Tech it would be 5.
I don't think it's a cut it's how many years to pay it. Or maybe there is x $$ due by Dec 31st and LSU wants to negotiate a different payment plan or lower first installmentWhy would Brian Kelly take a cut?
Retire dude, get it all.
I don't think UCLA is as desirable of a job as it once was. This off season might be the most insane ever
Florida
LSU
UCLA
Okie State
Penn state
Probably Wisconsin
Maybe Colorado
Maybe Nebraska
Just gonna be a mess. I’m probably missing some
Other ones also
Also with them turning things around a bit I could see them keeping an internal hire but I do agreeI don't think UCLA is as desirable of a job as it once was.
This...He must pursue other jobs. Doesn’t mean they have to hire him.

Florida has more money and more HS football talent than Bama and it isn't even close. Bama isn't what you think it is in the NIL world. There's no excuse for Florida to ever not be a national championship contender. Bama has tradition. In no world is Florida above Bama and LSU.
And an endless supply of h.s. football talent and Gainesville is unreal. LSU benefits from being the biggest show in the state so its got some recruiting advantage that even Bama doesn't have.If we're talking strictly about onfield success over the last two decades, agreed. However, I'm not 100% certain that equates to a "better job". I keep getting reminded that Alabama and LSU don't have the money that most people think they have. Meanwhile, it's hard to imagine that Florida doesn't have an insane amount of money. If they can ever get their **** together it's not hard to imagine them being a better job than Alabama or LSU - especially in this age where money means so much more.

Campbell’s low buyout is going to be appealing to schools that just spent tens of millions to get rid of their coach.
