***2024 Week 1 Games Thread***

Hunter is an amazing receiver, but his long catch along the sideline and the TD he just scored on were obvious offensive pass interference infractions that the refs refused to flag. Plus, what's up with his TD dance - anyone know the rules as to if that should have been excessive celebration? I wasn't bothered by it - just seems to me that if ISU did that after a TD, we'd definitely be flagged.

That's really funny. I have a relative who worked at Simpson, several years ago he gifted me an SC hat, which I wore out to Denver for a weekend to hang with friends and go to a CU v. Oregon game in Boulder. The entire time we were tailgating I had strangers commenting on my "Southern Cal" hat telling me how ballsy it was to wear it there. I figured it'd be too complicated to correct them so I just went with it.

Not sure what everyone’s watching. CU looks like they’ll struggle on the lines again (especially DL). But they’ve been dominating this game outside of the scoreboard. They’ll win by multiple TDs.

Will they win the Big 12, no. But they don’t look like the complete dog **** team they’re being characterized as.

It seriously f*cking kills me that an FCS school can have a QB like this and we're stuck with... nevermind.
My dad is an iowa fan. He called me specifically to say that NDSU is what iowa should be, specifically just from an offensive standpoint.

I thought it was a fair observation.

Nah they are still *******, their defense the first half was being manhandled. Their O line was a sive against a FCS defense

Can FBS teams use the helmet mics for games against FCS teams?
I was just thinking I haven’t seen the sticker on Sanders helmet.

Our receivers aren’t even allowed to run happy toward the end zone.

Yes both teams can use helmet mics this game. NDSU is using them for this game.

NDSU will not be using them in FCS games as they are currently not allowed in FCS games.
