Tyrese would’ve actually helped a lot that first quarter. The offense was uncreative and sloppy, other than Edwards. His perimeter defense is actually fine or even good, it’s in the paint and when guys drive on him he’s a poor defender. PR is winning on 3s not driving to basket.

Crap. China likely about to get another gold, but this one completely unexpected in women’s singles tennis.

Watching USA vs South Sudan and I’m genuinely curious why they don’t keep a ribbon at the bottom of the screen showing the normal score, time, shot clock, etc. it’s just random pop ups every few minutes.

Go back and watch nfl games from early 90's and score was only on occasionly. Same for nba then too. Hard to believe there were times when you didn't know time and score at all times because it's on the screen.

Pretty sure FOX was the network that started showing it all the time when they got the NFL in 94

I'm horribly disappointed that Fraser-Pryce scratched, one of my favorite non-USA track and field athletes

Australia 3x3 lost their pool-play closer in OT. Went from a chance at a bye (top 2) to finishing 5th. Mansfield only played about 40 seconds in that game, so she must have some type of injury.

They'll face Canada in the 4/5 "play-in" game at 2:30 p.m. (CT). Canada won the initial meeting 22-14.
