Elor wasn't even challenged until today. Kind of an under the radar athlete who should have been a bigger media sensation I think.
Unbelievable! I am of an age where it was rare to see any US athletes in track distance finals in the Olympics let alone 3. Hocker's final push, he just wasn't going to be denied. Nuguse with an incredible close as well. Another meter and he would have had silver. Stunned.
can’t believe there is no age limit.I love the Olympics. It's really nice to watch sports that you normally don't watch and athletes from all over the world you know nothing about just giving their all to win a medal.

Anybody else watching Men's Team Handball between France and Germany at this early hour? Germany ties it up to send it to extra time on a last-second France turnover and goal for Germany. Team Handball is pretty damn fun to watch.
