What always struck me watching college vs. pro football (really college vs. pro in any sport) was how much shorter of a leash pro coaches seemed to have. The pro teams treated it like a business and expected results while the college teams would let coaches build a program.
Now with NIL and TV money, turning this into a semi-pro league I won't be surprised to see a "pro football" level of patience with coaches at these big moneyed schools like OSU.
