***2024 CFB Week 8 (Oct. 15-19) Games Thread***

With multistream do all the different games get credit for viewership or does the one you have the sound?

I was at Iowa and in the student section when we played Miami in 1992, they were #1 in the nation. Night game. Amazing scene, and a serious beatdown.

I think Gino Torretta just completed another pass.
I was working in the tower at the Cedar Rapids airport then. I remember when the Miami team flew in on their charter, even the pilot was trash-talking Iowa as they taxied in to park.

On the one hand, only being down 7 after turning the ball over 3 times and missing 2 field goals would lead you to believe Tennessee has a real chance in the 2nd half.

On the other, Tennessee's offense is terrible and may not score in the 2nd half.

Ou in serious trouble, they just aren't unique at all in that conference. Gave up all their history and now they just a western outpost.

I am glad I am a Cyclone too. But I would have been on the Miami 2001 National Champ team and that would have been cool as hell.
That would have been crazy cool, especially some of the players you would have gotten to play with. Would you have been there though for that hose job against Ohio State? Because that would have infuriated me as a player on that team.

9-3 Tennessee and 10-2 Notre Dame are going to be the argument against a second Big 12 team. Honestly, those are terrible arguments outside of brand, which somehow matters most smh

The Alabama/Tennessee game is bad football. The two have combined for:

4 turnovers
14 penalties
2 missed field goals
Better tell the CFP committee. We just have to have that type of football in the playoff!
