***2024 CFB Week 8 (Oct. 15-19) Games Thread***

Is Colorado legit?
In what? Known as Berkeley East (party school) Cal makes U of Iowa look mild. As far as Colorado football check out Nebraska football today. CU can score but they have to as their defense is terrible.

Doesn't look like Arizona defense has much shot of slowing the Colorado offense down today.

agree. This is why (as much as I hate it) to have Texas win the SEC the first year they joined. Then proceed to become an even worst version of who they are and cause turmoil in the SEC.

OU is in a slide regardless of what conference they are in. I don't think OU would have finished well in the Big12 either.
In hindsight, a huge mistake to move on from Gabriel for this Arnold kid, who eventually got benched.

An 11-1 Indiana with no Top 25 wins may not make it into the CFP. The Big Noon guys said something along those lines before today's game.
Good to know they’re starting to make a distinction between B10/SEC teams and the right B10/SEC teams.

I think it’s kind of funny the pundits are talking about Indiana not getting into the CFP at 11-1 without a top 25 win and also Boise St getting the #4 seed at 11-1 and just as many top 25 wins.

It's gonna get ugly once they get to placing the playoff teams

They can score with most teams but they're so undisciplined and bad defensively, I think if they get in vs. a team with a good defense and just a decent offense they're DOA.
Get in = playoff berth?

I am not sure they are a playoff team. Maybe?

I meant they were legit in regards to conference foes competing for championship game berth.

They will struggle against any team that weathers adversity efficiently.

Losing by 3 to Oregon at Oregon is the equivalent of a top 10 win.

That's why they're dangerous to a 1 loss big 12 champ, particularly one that had an easier path to the championship game.

No, I wasn't meaning "get in" as a playoff berth for CU. I just meant if they play a team with a good D and decent O.
