Was that ever a serious question? It has always been Reid. I know the media tried to make it be about Bienemy as opposed to the other OC's who were only there at face value to try to make him seem different etc but it was always Reid.

Could be Bieniemy was putting out feelers to return to NFL and UCLA caught wind of it and canned him. If I'm Foster I would want coordinators committed to being at UCLA as it's a more than 1-2 year rebuild school.

NIL and other $ changes the recruiting scene enough that I'm not sure it matters as much for the HC
So the last time the job was open, they hired a 67 year old guy who had been retired for five years. Now that he's retired again, they're looking at a 72 year old guy who's only eight months younger than the guy that just retired (again). The next time that job comes open they'll be looking to dig up Bear Bryant.
