***2024-2025 NCAA FB coaching carousel***

I'm re watching Arkansas Florida from last year.
Man, Arkansas was undisciplined.

Would not be shocked if that coach is canned halfway thru this year.

I just saw this morning that USC lost to Maryland. Old Lincoln can't be long in LA anymore right? I suppose they'll come after their the coach that was their second (first?) choice again.

USC got a lot of pub bringing in Riley and Williams but on the field ROI has been pretty rough. They invested upwards of $20 million for this?

WVU, we are told, wont fire NB even if he is 4-8. His buyout is 9 million, and with the reduced Big 12 payout and House Settlement being 20 m annually, WVU just doesnt have the 9 million.

Nolaeer, don’t you think that is just your AD reminding you that coaching changes are not free? You need a booster like yourself to pledge four million with a fan match to help him get on with it.

Sadly, that would empty my retirement accounts and the withdrawal would hurt from a capital gains tax perspective.

WVU does have a billionaire donor, but he just donated a lot to the baseball team to build a top 3 indoor facility in the country. he also shelled out NIL cash for players who are not very good. WVU is just one of 3 p4 teams not to be ranked in the top 25 since 2019.

The NB era has been historically bad. he's never beaten a 7 win team, and has won only 40 percent of his home games. Even DH won 60 percent. And his home losses are not nailbiters, average margin of loss is over 15 points.

The Pat White/Steve Slaton--Geno Smith /tavon Austin days seem a lifetime ago.
