Again, Big 12 must dominate in the non-con so that the in conference losses everyone is going to take don't do too much damage to Big 12 teams' seeding.

My dream is an all Big 12 Final Four and at the start of it the announcers say something like, "Welcome to the Big 12 Tournament."
The summary definitely is complimentary. Essentially admits ISU's rank might be too conservative.
I hope the conference just dominates in the non-con.
The Iowa State/Auburn game looms large in the Big 12/SEC debate both in the computers and with what the generally idiotic talking heads are going to say on the TV for the old white guys.
ISU and Auburn are 2/3 of the best teams in that field (with North Carolina being the other one) and have to play in the first round AND the winner probably has UNC in the second round.
Just a brutal bracket and tournament but if we're as good as we hope...

Everyone picked Houston and KU 1 or 2 except for one Baylor pick thrown in there, and ISU had the most 3rd place votes. Seems fair to me. Like Ric Flair said, to be the man you got to beat the man so if ISU wants the benefit of the doubt they need to win the conference regular season title. I don't think KP's preseason rankings are very good. I mean they have Iowa 33. Also, i heard that Tom Kakert hilariously is picking to beat Iowa State easily this year. lol
We've played like ass there the last 4 times so I'm not surprised. This team is very different than two years ago though (duh). I think we'd have to play down and Iowa would have to play extremely well to beat us this year though.

If this year plays out REMOTELY like any of the preseason polls, every Big 12 fan should only refer to the conference as "Power One Basketball". They're trying to do it to us in football and we'd be insane not to judo toss that move on them in basketball.
Watson making a step is something people don't even get to when looking at the team but it's incredibly possible. He has all the tools.
Milan is going to be a top 10 offensive player in the Big XII this year. I can't believe he's not in the top 40 from his production last year.
Yeah, these projections are hardly perfect, but I have a hard time being hard on Torvik for it. There are 364 teams in Division 1 now, so he's doing mass projections for 3,640+ players each offseason.
There are going to be some misses along the way. Typing that 3,640+ number out just reminds me how good you have to be to be an All-American (roughly the top 15) and Tamin might be on that tier.
