Why is NDSU not seeded?

I'm guessing because they lost 3 games in the regular season all in the MVC. All 3 teams made the playoffs.
South Dakota beat them early in conference play 24-19 in Fargo.
The University of North Dakota whipped them 49-24 in Grand Forks and South Dakota State beat the Bison 33-16 in Brookings.

Albany RB scores instead of going down -- which would have let them run out the clock.

Idaho gets right back with a FG to make it 30-22.

Albany recovers the onside kick, and will play in Brookings next Friday night.

Completely unrealistic expectations in that fan base. When 60-10 with 2 titles, a runner up and 2 semifinals (this year included) aren't good enough, nothing is good enough.

So weird that as the dominant southeast schools like app st and ga southern graduated to fbs, the center of the old 1-AA level has shifted to North/South Dakota and Montana

There's a line of thinking that the Montana and Dakota schools are at the top of FCS partially because there are no FBS schools to compete with in those states.

Watched the entire Furman-Montana game and Gene Chizik's son, Cally Chizik played a helluva game (9 tackles) at Corner/Nickel for Furman who was ranked #2 in FCS for the majority of the season. Furman had top rated defense and Cally looks like he could play at the FBS level.

Between this game and the FCS playoffs, I’m starting to really like this level of football more this time of year than the FBS. Just teams that really want to play the game and not making business decisions.

Maybe it’s just me getting old, but outside of ISU I really am not really excited about watching any FBS games, including the playoffs.
