BIG time yes from me!

40% career from 3. 33/67 (49.3%) against top 100 opponents this past season!!
Hope we can get him instead of going north, but can't blame him if he wants to go to Minnesota, back home.

I mean, we’re recruiting multiple bigs. If we sign two it’s pretty safe to say we don’t think he’ll get the wavier.

Likewise, we're after a couple 'scorers' w/ 3 pt. success, so I also think its pretty safe to say Aj Green isn't coming.

Why is it safe to say that?
Just think if people are correct in saying we might try to get two bigs, it seems we are after alot of scoring guards yet for a team that has someone already that fits the bill, on top of Williams. Only two scholarships left. (Yes, I realize you have to contact and pursue multiple transfers in hopes to even get 1 or 2.). Also, not gonna lie, I've been influenced by other posters saying its not happening.

Maybe, but I'd say at worst they are recruiting as though it is not yet known. Which is likely true.

Most of the perimeter guys we've been linked to have been more wing and defense/low volume guys. Eric Williams, Dennis, Michael Jones, etc. All of those guys had lower usage than 19%. For reference, IB had 24% at PSU. Gabe was third on the team last year at 22% The guards we are recruiting have been 3rd or 4th option types, generally long/athletic, and 3 and D types or complementary players.

Granted, it is not easy to get in on proven scores and we could just think these guys will make a jump to one of our top scorers while continuing our elite defense, but many of the guys we're recruiting go well with a high volume AJ Green. Add in the focus on two bigs, despite having some need for another guard that can shoot/score after losing IB, and you could argue the staff is recruiting as though we're sitting on a good hand.

Maybe another scholarship will open up before the start of next season..

A post on another thread said we'll have to beat out ND for Basile. I see from one of the Bucky sites that their sources have his top three as ND, ISU, and VT. Is this being reported elsewhere?

Where did you see the team to beat for Basile is ND? I only saw that his top 3 was ND, VT and ISU
