Just like @cyfan92 did last year, I wanted to create a centralized place for commitments and known offers/targets. Similarly this will be separate from the master list of every human being entering the transfer portal. Again try to keep this to OFFERS and credible interest only!

As of 5/15/2022, ISU has 1 open scholarship after the Osun Osunniyi commitment.

The new 247 guy has heard rumblings that Joey Hauser may not be happy at Mich State.
No confirmed interest from either side, but he'd fit the profile of a guy TJ would go after.

Uh ya we would be all over that and highly likely to succeed.

If I understand this correctly, the Ivy League did not budge on their 4 to play 4 even with COVID, correct?

So any Ivy League senior would have to transfer to get a 4th year of participation, correct?

You’ll have to excuse me, I’m a little slow…

Please, please, please take him. I don’t know if he has more playing time (he did senior night and said he was done) but I would feel so much better if he had no option to come back.

If I had to rank them in terms of need:

1. Coleman
2. Llewellyn
3. Gainey
4. Brown
5. Graham

in terms of want:
1. Coleman - best big that is currently targeted
2. Gainey - 2nd best big being targeted
3. Brown - a guy who can hit the glass
4. Llewellyn - small guard, but has some handle
5. Graham - not really moving the needle for me

Getting one of Coleman or Gainey would be big, I would be happy if TJ signed both. These are the big physical dudes we need to better compete with teams like Tech. Both guys appear to be pretty good on the boards and the defensive side of the ball too. Even if TJ doesn't land either of these guys, I assume we'll end up with a couple similar.

Brown is a mixed bag, but I think I like what we'd be getting. He has good size, and I'd assume TJ would use him as a stretch 4 with King and presumably Kunc. He could also probably play the 3. His 3 pt shooting is pretty horrific, but I'll take a guy who can go after a rebound any day of the week. Getting back to taking bigger dudes like what Tech has that are just tough SOB's and can switch and defend all 5 positions, I think Brown would fit that bill. He also shoots over 50% overall from the floor the last 2 years, so my assumption is he can slash and maybe get to the rack a little bit.

Llewellyn would be a fine get, and certainly this team needs another ball handler and guy to hit 3's. I'm just hesitant to bring him in due to his size (6'2"). We have quite a few smaller guards on next year's roster as it is, and guys like that get banged around in the Big 12 as we witnessed. Tj should certainly pursue if we lose either Brockington or Kalscheur though.

Graham. Meh. I mean, if you want to assume that some combination of Walker, Jackson, and Enaruna hit the portal and we need bodies, then sure. Why not? With his size and pedigree coming out of h.s. he is intriguing to say the most.

Known OTZ interest:

Jaelin Llewellyn
- 6'2'' G (2022-2023 Senior)(Princeton)

Hayden Brown - 6'5'' F (2022-2023 Senior)(The Citadel)

Jaylan Gainey - 6'9'' F (2022-2023 Senior)(Brown)

Kendal Coleman - 6'8'' C (2022-2023 Junior)(Northwestern State)

James Graham - 6'8'' F (2022-2023 Sophomore)(Maryland)
