Wow he must really hate it. Paint has not even dried since they lost last night
Isn't everyone pretty much gone from that team next year? Probably doesn't want to be part of a rebuild his last year.

My guess is we will see a lot of head scratchers in the future with the new transfer policy. Whether it is to play for an established coach with a history of putting kids into the NBA, kids jumping to a great location (Miami or SoCal) or elite players deciding to team up.

Aren't Florida Gulf Coast's dorms/condos on the beach?

I think pretty much everyone was gone from their team last season, except Shannon and couple other guys. If Adams can keep getting transfers, I'm not sure they will ever be in a full rebuild.

Hunter, IB and Jaz please return
Hopefully Tre King is working on his 3 point shooting and rebounding.

Time to hammer the transfer portal to fill Gabe, Conditt, Jackson and Walker's spots

Someone dropped a link in one of the cyclone chats I'm in from 247 mentioning that Jaz is likely back, Gabe was a yes lean, and Brockington was 50/50. Conditt was not mentioned so I imagine that he will leave as most people predict

It was from a podcast and not insider content so I feel good that I can share that here.

I hope I'm not crucified for this but he's got to either get quite a bit better on offense into next year or play a smaller role. He was excellent in the tournament, especially against Wisconsin, but you can't have a starting guard be a negative as often as he was this year.

Love his effort on defense but unless there are massive strides made on offense over most of the roster, you realistically do need more from that spot, especially from a starter.

I think his defense, leadership, and his driving, cutting, posting up some defenders, and mid-range game will help us plenty. Just doesn't need to take any '3's.

Agree. When he's played to his strengths on offense, it's helped a lot. Posting up smaller guards, mid range, and attacking off the dribble are when he's at his best. Just shouldn't be taking more than one or two threes a game unless he's like, crazy on fire.

For a while I was of the mind that he needed to go too, but him changing his game up quite a bit during the touranment kinda makes me want him to stay. I think he'll need to accept a lesser role next year but there's a lot of positives in keeping him

And so many misses were really, really off. Even in the tournament as he was playing better overall. Really baffling to me. It's like a baseball player with the yips or something.

Gabe brings a lot of positives. In a supplementary role on offense, he could be great. We know he can get crazy hot and is much better from the mid-range and in. Need to recruit well enough that you aren't relying on 15+ from him so often, but there is enough to work with that I can see it working out a lot better next year if he's in the mid-range/attack-the-rim mindset as a baseline next year.

If we could get Gabe to just hit the wide open stand still 3s we would improve exponentially. It is just a killer when he doesn't even hit rim on them.
