***2022 PGA Tour Thread***

I read somewhere that LIV plans to do multiple events in Australia. The PGA Tour nixed the Australian Open, so I imagine it's a big draw for some of these guys to be able to play at home. It also sounds like with the team component they will have an all-Aussie team.

So while I'm sure the biggest draw was the literal mountain of cash, I'd imagine there may be some more too it.

There is definitely a part of LIV that makes team golf appealing. There’s already a South African team. An English team and Australian team are not far behind.

Again, the PGA tour could’ve done this stuff years ago, but whatever.

Anyone who plays on the LIV Tour really has to question what kind of human being they are. Are you just a complete sell out that will take huge blood money to play in non competitive exhibitions?

The team aspect doesn't do much for me. It seems a little random. Guys aren't in same group as next best team(s). It just lacks the head-to-head the Presidential or Ryder Cup have.

Sure guys make a big deal about it when it lines their pocket with another $500k. But players focus is on their game.

It's a novelty, but not gonna bring viewers.

They did. It’s called the Ryder Cup and President’s Cup.

President’s cup is a joke. International team will never have enough talent to win. And Ryder Cup is once every 2 years. There’s room to do more, but again whatever. LIV’s already inside the gates of the PGA castle. Only a matter of time

I still haven’t found anyone I know that has watched a minute of live LIV golf.

Cantlay wins the BMW Championship. Scheffler has the points lead heading into the final Fed Ex Playoff stop next week in Atlanta.

Cam Smith sounds like he’d rather fish then play golf so the 100 mil to not play much probably works.

That's what the LIV Tour is all about.... guys that want to get paid huge bucks to play non-competitive exhibition golf.... and do other things.

Could you imagine Tiger opting to play non-competitive golf? He'd rather not play golf at all than have to play non-competitively I'd imagine.

Btw... I was really rooting hard for Scott Stallings today. That guy has been playing on the PGA Tour a LONG time.... wanted to see him pull through.
