If Scottie hangs on, he will have 5 wins between the Super Bowl and Memorial Day.

TW stuff. But,.......TW ran like this for 10+ years.

Harold Varner was tied for the lead, had a long, long wait for Stallings to drop for multiple obstructions after chunking a plugged bunker shot to a long putt for par, and ended up 3 putting for triple. Then put his next one on the par 3 into the water for a double. I hate that, he's one of those guys I'm rooting for to get a win.

Once in a while, I can play (almost) as well as some of the pros....thank you Harold. I do like his play and approach to the game. He is usually very steady.

Wow, Dustin Johnson playing in the LIV event. Doesn't shock me though. I think if DJ could play in like just 12 events a year and make a ton of money doing it that is the route he will go even if it means he can't play PGA events.

Possibly, I think he cares more about partying/hanging out with Paulina and $$$ than he does about winning trophies these days.

There's also the chance, although not guaranteed, that he could still play in 1 or more of the majors still since they're not PGA Tour run events. That's probably all he really cares about at this point. I know the PGA Championship alluded to not letting LIV players play, but who knows.

All in all this seems like it won't be interesting to watch in the slightest, it's either young guys I've never heard of or older guys that are past their prime.

I guess I both get it and I don't for DJ. He was always the perfect mark for LIV as a guy who has the credentials, but also probably doesn't care much about his legacy, reputation, competition level, etc. I imagine he's content to rake in the money and is likely pretty unconcerned about anything else. Play a few tournaments a year, make the same amount (or more) you'd make playing a full PGA slate, sounds alright.

At the same time, I just cannot fathom doing all this with what the PGA offers. Guy has made $75 million dollars just in tour winnings and he's only 37 years old. Who knows how much else he's making in endorsement deals. Not to mention his FIL is worth a cool 250 million dollars. I guess I should know better than to put any stock in the "don't you already have enough money" argument, as that argument rarely seems to stop anyone from doing anything in the sports world, but it just seems so silly to completely tarnish your reputation and get banned from the Tour when you already have an incomprehensible amount of money.
