NFL: ***2022 NFL Season Thread***

Yikes for the Bears. Fields is out. Trevor Siemean was set to start, but got hurt in warm-ups. So they're going with Nathan Peterman, who was just moved up from the practice squad yesterday. The Jets defense is going to feast.
Honestly this is a good scenario for them. Fields has shown enough to be the guy, keep losing and get a higher pick.

Jax with the dub over the Ravens. Didn't see that coming.

Everyone likes to pretend that Lamar Jackson is the answer at QB for the Ravens, or, if given enough time will be, but I'm really just not buying it anymore. Trevor Lawrence, in his second year and against a better defense had a better day than Jackson did.

Jackson is an exciting player who makes exciting plays, and may win a handful of games, but he's not a championship QB, and is probably holding the Ravens back more than he's really helping them.

I think a lot of teams have figured Baltimore's Jackson out now.

They bracket the defensive ends and make sure to get contain, more important than sacks.

That makes him a good QB, not a great one.

Unless he can adapt, he may end up going the Kaepernick route.

That is why Baltimore didn't pay him.

They may have saved the franchise.

That team has a great roster, and just had a fantastic draft.

As for Denver, sheesh.

Is that trade going to replace the Herschel Walker trade now as the worst ever?

Especially when you factor in the extension?

Denver has a nice roster too.
