Hard to judge much of Love this early as he looks as wide-eyed as a Freshman on his first day in high school. But as a huge Rodgers fan up until this week, I'm ready to give him a much warmer greeting than I was a week ago.

Yikes, Jordan Love looks awful. Not much to be excited about after Rodgers if this is what you are going to get.

Granted, this is Love's first start, but this isn't exactly a great defense he's going against. Bottom 5 in both yards against and points allowed. 7 points isn't not a great number to put up against a team that gives up almost 28 on average.
Love was awful, special teams awful, yet Packers had a chance at the end. Chiefs shouldn’t feel too great after that one. Hope Rodgers is back for Seattle next week.
Seriously though, I'm feeling pretty confident in our team once Rodgers is back. Defense had them on lock down and did what they needed to do. That will probably be our worst special teams game all year too (I hope).. so I’m sure things will come together just fine here in the back half of the season.

I’m not too confident right now that Love is future at QB for my Packers, but I absolutely HATED the pick at the time and never really thought he’d be the future anyway.
What I couldn’t stand though was Aikman just ruthlessly destroying the kid after every play….. while Mahomes was playing just as bad or worse than Love was. Love also had no time whatsoever to throw all night, he had guys in his face instantly.

Packers fans today got a sense what a lot of us live yearly or even decades with. Been spoiled for 25+ years.
One thing to consider though is Love had one of the best offense in the league surrounding him today going against one of the worst defenses in the league. I really am disappointed in how inept he was, but was not at all surprised. He looked horrible in preseason as well. He is definitely not the future qb for Green Bay. I’ve seen very little in him that gets me excited.
What little I saw it looked like Love is a pretty typical back up type that can be serviceable in short term after more experience but can't make THE throws which is the difference.

What a trainwreck. I really like Mike Mayock, but he might not have a job for much longer.
