I mean, this isn't MLB where the Yankees 20 years ago spending 4X some teams to win world championships, or the NBA where if there is a cap it's merely a suggestion - this is the NFL with a hard salary cap. Yes, the Rams "bought" this Super Bowl by bringing in an all star cast. And with the way the NFL works they're going to pay for it in a few years because they have given up a ton of draft capital to get where they are now.

Well if the goal was to win a championship they attained it.

Almost all of Cincy’s defense are FA from the last couple of years. The NFLs cap structure and short NFL careers means guys go to whatever team is going to pay them period. This isn’t like the NBA where a guy is probably going to play 10 years and worry about marketing and being in a great location.

Meh, the non OPI on the play where Ramsey gave up the long TD was just as bad, if not worse.

TBH I’d have to go rewatch that again to see how egregious that was

The 3rd down holding call on Wilson inside the 10. Might as well throw a flag every play if that’s a penalty.

The receivers hips did twist a little, might have been what the refs saw and decided to call it. It was a little questionable.

I can't cheer for Burrow because his dad was a jackass to ISU. He was on Walden's staff, and was really butt hurt when Walden was let go and talked bad about ISU to whoever and whenever he could.

Oh really? While Burrow was at Ohio, he contacted Paul Rhoads when he got the job here and wanted to be on his staff. Joe was in 9th grade at the time.

Are you kidding? Like half of the Bengals starting defense were acquired in free agency. That's how it works for most teams. You're acting like building a team through free agency makes the Rams title somehow less than, when that couldn't be further from the truth.

Neither of these teams are my favorite. So I was just rooting for the underdog blue collar small market team on the road led by the Ames native….. sorry.

The team in the huge market playing at home with all the star players won…. congrats to them. I just couldn’t get myself to root for them.
