No offense to the military schools but they are pretty much hamstrung and aren't going to do much better than they do.
The ****** thing is, that RB doesn't fumble and Navy wins, Ken still has a job.
Hall of Fame coach and national treasure Mike Leach was hospitalized today for a medical emergency in his home. Their DC has been named interim head coach to prepare for MSU's bowl game and until Coach Leach returns, but doing that seems pretty serious.

Seriously doubt it - his record has been poor the past few seasons. 4 losing seasons in the last 5. He was 11-2 in 2019 but only won 3 games each in 2 seasons before and 4 games each in the last 2 seasons
It's Navy it's not like they are going to be better than that consistently
Honestly, a great hire would be David Shaw. His temperament would be perfect there.
Actually that's a good thought. He's not an option guy but could implement a power scheme there.
Hmmm he was an assistant strength coach at Oregon when we beat them in the Fiesta Bowl. Originally from Ohio, there's the connection.

Kagy was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Iowa State from 2016-18. The Cyclones won eight games in each of his final two seasons, captured the 2017 Liberty Bowl and played in the 2018 Alamo Bowl.
Sounds like Navy had a lot of obstacles even relative to the other service academies.

Niumatalolo says Navy fired him immediately after loss to Army
Former Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo told ESPN Monday he was fired Saturday in Philadelphia by athletic director Chet Gladchuk in the moments after the double-overtime loss to Army, and that given the circumstances, "most of it I couldn't comprehend."
Based on that article I’ll be cheering Army in the annual navy/army game b/c the navy AD and navy regulations seem like BS.Sounds like Navy had a lot of obstacles even relative to the other service academies.

The Navy AD apparently said commitment to the triple option will be a requirement for the new coach.
