It's home for Brohm and he probably feels like he has reached about as high as he can at Purdue. Especially when the B1G gets rid of Divisions in 2 years.

I honestly thought Mullen would have been a slam dunk either at Cincy or Louisville, and kind of think the same for Purdue.

I guess any coach can jump ship, even if they've been at their school 1 year. But I'm short on head coaching prospects that have had success in ACC, Big12 or Pac 12.

• NC State's Doeren could be an option as he was DC at Wisky before becoming a HC at NIU.
• Pitt's Pat Narduzzi was DC at Mich State
• Baylor's Dave Aranda was DC at Wisky
• Kentucky's Mark Stoops played at Iowa and has been at UK for 10 years. Maybe he's looking for a new challenge.

Purdue can offer Big10 money, but I would think it's tough for Purdue to be anything more that a middle of pack Big10 team. That's why I think they could end up with a big name assistant like Leonhard or Notre Dame's OC Tommy Rees.
